The Brand New Blu-Ray Player from Samsung - the BD-P1500 model

Pros: Good picture, allows all audio signals to pass through, Profile 1.1 - promise of upgrades
Cons: Nothing really, unless Samsung decides to not upgrade this player with profile 2.0
The Bottom Line: Best Player for the money - as long as your home theater receiver can pick up the slack

Evolution at Work

Pros: Plentiful firmware updates, decent startup time
Cons: Remote
The Bottom Line: While still trumped by the PS3 in perofrmance, this player is a better value - perhaps now, but certainly in the future.
