Cons: Unreliable when transferring home videos to DVD.
The Bottom Line: Buyer Beware. Reoccurring bugs while transferring home video tapes to DVD.

Pros: Quality recording equipment
Cons: Weak in the JPEG picture area.
The Bottom Line: If you can avoid the still picture functions you will have an excellent recorder/player for VCR and DVD.

From what I can see there is not much to choose from in this class of equipment. This DVD/VCR has some good and bad points.
The remote control does not have a TV control code...

Pros: Good manual, lots of options, great up-conversion, remote controls TV too
Cons: Can lock-up occasionally
