Good Alternative to Magellan and Garmin Offerings

Pros: Easiest to view and use. MP3 capabilities. Price.
Cons: Poor reliability, buzzing sound from speaker, bulky and single function use.
The Bottom Line: An alternative to expensive DVD navigation systems from the dealer provided that you can deal with the reliability issues.

Lowrance iWay 500C: Gets You There

Pros: Large screen. Easy to input destination. On-screen data entry. Loud, clear voice directions.
Cons: Heavy unit wobbles a bit. Uses a lot of power. Doesn't easily connect to stereo.
The Bottom Line: This is a very good GPS system with excellent customization features, accurate directions, and a very large screen.
