Pros: Easy to learn. 10 Mega pix, 12 Zoom
Cons: Too many steps for specials. No flip screen to protect from scratches.
The Bottom Line: This Fuji FinePix S1000FD Digital Camera is the latest in our camera collection. It allows more freedom in experimenting yet it does everything automatically when wanted.

Pros: This Camera provides nice clean pictures from any angle. This is a great camera.
Cons: The len's guard often gets in the way, but can also be easily removed.
The Bottom Line: I bought this Camera in April 08. I was in a car wreak in May of 08 and The camera was thrown out of the car 200 yards. It survived.

Pros: Not TOO expensive, intuitive, durable, nice quality pictures and video.
Cons: Easy to fat-finger wrong buttons, no threading for lens filter.
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend to anyone looking to hop into digital with a camera that can do more than just a beginner's without being too complicated!
