I'm glad that I bought this instead of a regular DVD player.

Pros: can be hooked up to a television; portability, a plethora of features
Cons: some DVDs may crack in the center if you press to hard
The Bottom Line: Despite a few shortcomings, still a recommendable product, especially if you're new to the DVD player

If by portable you mean attached to a cord

Pros: Portable, can be connected to a TV, plays CD, photodisk and other formats
Cons: Battery life is short, bad colors on LCD, bad sound

Review: This is a great little player. When you're using it in your home theater.

The unit can be connected to your TV via a composite video jack. For videophiles, that's low quality video right there.

Pros: Cheap, makes a good door stop.
Cons: Cheap, doesn't work, but it was cheap.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This is my second audiovox DVD player. The first one couldn't make it 10 minutes into a movie with out getting stuck, having to be shut off and started again. Even Walmart and Best Buy are not stocking this item any more. GEE I WONDER WHY?? This one...
