Can I marry a robot?

I'm a single guy, soon to be married, that has a cleaning lady come every 2 to 3 months to do the real dirty work. So rather then call her for her quarterly visit, I took the money I would normally give her and invested it in this. Anyways, on with my review...

I couldn't wait to get this thing fired up but was a little disappointed that I had to charge her overnight (they recommend at least 16 hours for the initial charge) before using.

Realizing that I could use the scheduler (very easy to setup) to start cleaning in the early AM before we go to work to get a little preview of her in action while we get ready. I assumed that this thing would make enough noise to wake us before the alarm clock went off (Roomba's time was set for 7:30am). But surprisingly, she was so quiet I didn't wake until the alarm clock went off at 8am. I ran out of my room like a kid on Christmas morning to find that my Roomba (who I've now dubbed "Rosie" hehe) had already cleaned the entire living room and the kitchen and had moved onto the hallway!!!

I followed her around for 25 minutes... amazed by this technological wonder. Now, aside from the wow factor... I have to admit I was picking up some dust bunnies that were left behind. But overall... everything was much cleaner then it was. Did I mention that I hadn't vacuumed in 3 months!!! So that considered... she did a fantastic job. I plan on running her at least once a week now and will try her out in the rest of the house.

As far as the battery, which was charged for about 12 hours... lasted about 45 min to 1 hour before she needed to redock. I haven't used the lighthouses yet (which need 2 C batteries each) but will report back after more use and if I come across any problems. So far, so good!!!
