A Great Single Cup Brewer

I recently purchased the Keruig B70 Platinum brewer, and I am very pleased. It has a very user friendly digital display. You can select from four brew sizes, different brew temps. You can also program when you want it turned on. So its ready to brew a cup when I get up in the morning. The selection of beverages is outstanding. There are over 150 different coffees and teas for this brewer. And if you do some savvy shopping, you can get 25 packs for around $10 delivered from various websites.
The only thing I am not to pleased with is the noise. When the pump runs to fill the heated tank from the reservoir, it buzzes loudly. So I got some self adhesive woolly type furniture pads and stuck them to the bottom. This did a great job from allowing it to telegraph the vibrations into my countertop.


The styling is quite nice. A very attractive addition to my kitchen. Fit, form and function is also outstanding.
I was so pleased with this unit, I was able to get rid of the FilterFresh brewer at work, (a monster of a machine!)and get a B3000 commercial unit in our office. Everybody loves it!

Update 2-24-08
Just a little trick I learned since using this brewer. It seems that if you put the cup size on a larger size, your product will be weak.(no soak or steep time) So this is what I do. I select the smallest size cup, and let it go through its cycle. I wait a minute or two for the grounds to steep a bit, and then brew a second time without changing the product. It works great. A larger cup of tea or coffee, that is not weak in taste.
