Author's Review
I have currently been using my Motorola V360 on the T-Mobile network for 7 months now. I purchased this phone free after rebate and was absolutely delighted when it came in the mail. I would definitely choose this phone again, even over the razr. This is one durable phone. My razr broke when my friend sat on it, yet the v360 didn't. Maybe it's just in the design.
This phone comes jam packed with features. I absolutely love the .5 megapixel camera which produces very clear 640x480 pictures. It is super easy to transfer these photos to a computer as long as the photos are stored on the micro sd card, which is expandable up to 512k. That is a lot of room for a lot of photos. Having so much storage also allows for up to 100 full mp3s on the built-in mp3 player.
The bluetooth functionality can be tricky at times. I have never had any problem connecting with another phone, but some headsets don't want to work properly with this phone. If you are going to invest in a bluetooth headset, I would not recommend a lower end version. The transfer of data through bluetooth connection is quite impressive. A full song from the mp3 player can be transferred in under a minute.
I love the shape and design of the phone. The flip is smooth and stable throughout the life of the phone, yet over time you will develop two small indentions (rubbing marks) from when the phone is flipped open. It took about 5 months for them to show up, but now they are very obvious.
The micro sd card is located inside the battery compartment, yet the battery does not have to be removed to remove or insert the micro sd card. This is great when switching out cards and not having to turn the phone off and remove the battery, which may reset some settings.
The only major problem I've had with this phone is that the screen tends to go out after about 6 months. I have encountered a few other people with the same problem. It starts with a screen flicker every now and then, but eventually the screen will completely fail. I have replaced mine at a price of $24.99 and now the screen is as good as new.
