Pros:  cheap price

Cons:  very slow

The Bottom Line:  few features, but inexpensive

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

If you have a home office and you must have a copy machine this costs only $250. The copier only produces 3 pages per minute. This is very slow compared to copiers in larger offices which produce 30 pages per minute. If you need a few copies here and there for your home office though it may be sufficient.
The copier produces up to 20 copies in a continuous mode. It has a 50 sheet input tray which handles letter and legal size paper, transparencies, and other stock. It has a toner saving mode which helps it produce very similar copies to the original.
Another problem with the cheap model is it does not do enlargements or reductions. The copier comes with a three year warranty which is generous for a low end model. This helps in the long run especially if you don't have a department that handles administrative clerical functions.
You won't break the piggy bank if you buy this copier. However, if you spend $250 you are not getting too much. Allot of times I like to enlarge or reduce copies and this feature is missing. I would save the bucks and head for Staples or Kinkos where you can get good high quality copies. You also get a multitude of features. Forget the warranty, because if you go out for your copies you don't have to worry about your machine breaking down.
