Pros: Economical water use; cleans well; large capacity yet small size overall.
Cons: No bleach dispenser; no temperatures indicated on control panel; vibrates during spin on my floor.
The Bottom Line: Very small size overall yet large capacity, saves water and electricity, solidly built, cleans well.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: If you don t go look at the Whirlpool LHW0050PQ and its matching dryer (electric only), you wouldn t guess it s made in Italy. It is identical to the EuroTech EWF272 washer with the only differences being slight trim details and labeling terminology...

Pros: Everything
Cons: None for now.
The Bottom Line: Very happy with this machine.

Review: I just bought this machine at the Sears outlet in Baltimore, and I use it for support to the big GE 6400 model, which has spinning problems since day one.
This is the major reason why I own two washers, because my GE has so many problems trying... |

Pros: Fast, great capacity, compact feature allows me to keep it in my closet
Cons: Broke after only six loads and can't seem to be fixed.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this machine. It's not worth the stress.

Review: I have two small children, one of which is a newborn, so the idea of a small-capacity washer upstairs was heaven to me. We did some research and while there were some bad reviews about this machine, there were some very good ones too. So we decided...

Pros: Water heater, 1200 rpm, no significant lint, good washing results
Cons: Temps can only be adjusted by selecting wash modes which use hot, warm, cold.
The Bottom Line: Solid, well behaved machine that does an excellent job washing at a very reasonable price.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We've had this machine for two months now and consider it to be a great choice for my wife and I. We've had only 1 problem with it, the power switch wouldn't stay on at the two week point. I had an extended warranty contract with Lowes and they paid...

Pros: Great capacity (for a couple), uses little water, gentle on clothes, small size.
Cons: Length of wash cycle, few optional cycles.
The Bottom Line: Buy this small capacity machine if you don't need - or can live without - the optional extras of a higher-priced, larger capacity machine. Saves water, gentle on clothes.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We had been searching for a small capacity front-loading washer for some time. None of our local suppliers stocked them and I was unwilling to place a special order without first-hand knowledge of each machine's strengths and weaknesses. Whirlpool...

Pros: Cleans extremely well, very quiet, uses very little water and detergent ,heating element built in
Cons: takes a few minutes to start up, front of the cabinet is not flush
The Bottom Line:
a great washer for the space-challenged, will fit under a counter This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I bought this washer despite some bad consumer reviews, because it received good marks from testing labs. It seems this model has been revamped, because it is now called the 50P and not 50PQ.
I have used it now for a while, and I have to say... |

Pros:
small footprint, washes well, very little water use, very quiet, 12k RPM spin Cons: no bleach dispenser, no overt water temperature control, uneven loads will shake during spin cycle
The Bottom Line: Good option for a front-load washer, where only a small space is available.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We bought this washer with its companion dryer roughly 7 months ago. After doing some research, we found a "standard size" front-load washer/dryer combo would not fit where we were intending to put them. Our house was built before the front-load...

Pros: Energy Star rated
Cons: vibrates horribly; constant breakdowns; poor service from Whirlpool and its authorized repair agents
The Bottom Line: Unless you live very close to a laundromat, do not waste your money on this product. This thing breaks constantly. It's totally unreliable.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I purchased this washer and matching dryer from Lowes in July of 2005, and the frustrations began a month later. The machine sits on a concrete slab floor but vibrated so badly that the dryer (stacked on top) threatened to topple off every time I...

Pros: I found out how efficient these machines are, as the clothes come out very dry.
Cons: I found out the hard way that there is no bleach dispenser.
The Bottom Line: I really like this little washer. I love how dry my clothes are when washed and I love not using much water in the process.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We have had this machine now for almost a year. We bought ours a Lowe's. We wanted a smaller only 27" wide, front loading washer to fit in a closet in our Recreational Vehicle. We needed something that used only a little water and this one seemed to...

Pros: None
Cons: Doesn't work, customer service is a nightmare
The Bottom Line: STAY AWAY FROM THIS MACHINE! It doesn't work past a handful of loads and customer service is nil.

Review: I should have heeded the reviews. While doing the fourth load of laundry, this brand new machine it stopped working with my clothes locked inside. The only sign of life was the blinking of the START button.
Thinking I could outsmart it I... |
