Pros: Great sound right out of the box
Cons: No Thumpity-thump-thump. Must use proprietary adapter connectors from Bose. Small remote.
The Bottom Line: The Bose Wave Music System takes some getting used to, BUT once you do you won't regret buying it !

Review: My wife & I like to treat ourselves to something nice once in a while and this year we wanted to replace the stereo system we have in our dining room with something which would sound better and take up less room on the sideboard. We both enjoy our...

Pros: Keeps time.
Cons: Speakers too close together to be stereo. Sounds awful. Nausea inducing compressed sound.

Review: When will BOSE ever make anything that sounds decent. Plastic is not a great sound description. Stick with Tivoli Model 3 Clock radio with dual alarm speaker. Bose calls this a radio only because it actually tunes in radio stations albeit with...

Pros: Serious quality sound. Great look - Small footprint. Plays CD's, MP3's
Cons: Expensive. Not for true audiophiles as their only home sound system.
The Bottom Line: The Bose Wave Music System - Unbelievable sound, Contemporary look, Small footprint but expensive. Audiophiles should like it but not as their only home sound system.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I had been eyeing the Bose Wave Music System for years but at a cost of $499.00 I could never justify the cost. After several disappointing experiences with stereo systems over the past twenty plus years, we just wanted a nice sounding...

Pros: size, sound, looks
Cons: Little expensive
The Bottom Line: I recommend this because of good sound, excellent construction, small size and beautiful styling.

Review: Don't believe the marketing hype. This unit will not be as good as a component system costing far more. That said I am a musician and audiophile so I know good sound. The price isn't that bad when you consider that the original unit cost the same 15...

Pros: Elegant design, ease of use and very impressive sound.
Cons: Lack of buttons. (If that's a bad thing)
The Bottom Line: A high-priced but high performance system that does what it's told.

Review: I will admit it. I was suckered in to the home shopping network trap. Watching ShopNBC one night, I came across the new Bose Wave Music System. I was glued to the television for about an hour, after some intriguing demonstrations and countless...

Pros: Sleek look, ease of use, sounds OK, but that's not saying much.
Cons: Absurd pricing, mediocre radio, no tone controls, tiny remote. Did I say expensive?
The Bottom Line: Do not waste your money on this. It has OK sound, but the cost makes it a below average purchase. Your paying for the expensive TV ads. Buy something else.

Review: As a former musician and long time audio buff, recent developments had me exploring the purchase of the BOSE WAVE MUSIC SYSTEM.
Recently, I decided to sell my audio system. We are talking about 15,000 worth of stereo equipment here. I only... |

Pros: A well-designed piece of equipment with sound bigger than its size.
Cons: It can't compete with 15 speakers, pre-amp, and 10 other pieces of electronic wizardry.
The Bottom Line: For the money and for its size, Bose is a bargain. It's got many useful features and delivers really good (not spectacularly magic) sound.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: In fine, the Bose Wave music system is a little wonder.
Reading reviews here and there, it s clear that people who don t like this system expect things it wasn t meant to do. Some complain that it doesn t do what a multi-thousand dollar... |

Review: When I first got the Bose Wave Radio many years ago I was totally amazed at the quality of the sound. The Bose Wave Radio really did sound like a larger radio. How large? About a large boom box, but not a home stereo system.
Why I got... |

Pros: handsome look, small footprint, great sound (if...)
Cons: very expensive; no treble-bass controls
The Bottom Line: if you adjust the "tone" controls on your radio or CD player, beware this item, which has no such controls. Otherwise, if you have the money, go for it!
