Cons: Very pricey, cd changer not included, no buttons on actual unit
The Bottom Line: It is a great unit with great sound but it may be a bit expensive for non-audiophiles.

Review: When I first got the Bose Wave Radio many years ago I was totally amazed at the quality of the sound. The Bose Wave Radio really did sound like a larger radio. How large? About a large boom box, but not a home stereo system.

Pros: Serious quality sound. Great look - Small footprint. Plays CD's, MP3's
Cons: Expensive. Not for true audiophiles as their only home sound system.
The Bottom Line: The Bose Wave Music System - Unbelievable sound, Contemporary look, Small footprint but expensive. Audiophiles should like it but not as their only home sound system.

Review: I had been eyeing the Bose Wave Music System for years but at a cost of $499.00 I could never justify the cost. After several disappointing experiences with stereo systems over the past twenty plus years, we just wanted a nice sounding...

Pros: Great sound right out of the box
Cons: No Thumpity-thump-thump. Must use proprietary adapter connectors from Bose. Small remote.
The Bottom Line: The Bose Wave Music System takes some getting used to, BUT once you do you won't regret buying it !

Pros: Beautiful clock radio with ultra-thin remote that navigates the controls with little effort.
Cons: $400 for a glorified clock radio?! Not worth it!
The Bottom Line: I can't recommend this ultra-expensive clock radio to anyone. Nothing about it warrants the price tag.

Pros: A well-designed piece of equipment with sound bigger than its size.
Cons: It can't compete with 15 speakers, pre-amp, and 10 other pieces of electronic wizardry.
The Bottom Line: For the money and for its size, Bose is a bargain. It's got many useful features and delivers really good (not spectacularly magic) sound.

Review: In fine, the Bose Wave music system is a little wonder.

Pros: Great sound, ease of use, clear/powerful/rich sound, bass response, compact size
Cons: Expensive, remote only operation, would love a case to carry it around.
The Bottom Line: The system offers amazing sound for the size. It has a rich, natural sound in a compact unit that can be moved easily. Reliability is also excellent.

Well this system comes in 3 colors last time I checked, Greyish, Black and White. I personally like the white since this system is hard to get dirty there is no reason for buying a dark color just so that you can hide dirt... |
