Pros: Tons of safety features that actually work, heats rooms well, cool-to-touch, quiet, stylish

Cons: Cost, hard to find, thermostat reads a little warm, hard to service

The Bottom Line: If you are looking to heat a room in your home without turning on the entire home heating system, you should check out the Vornado TouchStone Vortex Heater (TVH500).

Cons: T stat runs a little higher than room temp.

The Bottom Line: If you need a heater you should seriously consider the TVH500.

Review: After checking out several whole room heater reviews here and at Consumer Reports, I saw the Vornado TVH500 rated highly by both. All the Vornado products seem to have a good following so I thought I would plunk down the $150 at Bed Bath and Beyond...

Pros: Remote. Good heater. Good as just a fan.

Cons: A little pricey but in hindsight well worth it.

Pros: Great Unit, superb heat output, tiny and overall 10 out of 10...

Cons: Non really...the visual appeal will scar you a bit since its so small..

The Bottom Line: Buy it if you are looking for a heater, the price is higher then normal heaters, but its well worth it.
