My Dream Blender, and much more. Only one appliance on my kitchen counter.

I Finally got my dream blender. It took along time but I finally have a Vita-Mix. I know that this machine will outlast any other kitchen appliance I own. This machine has replaced my juicer, food processor, ice cream maker, and blender, to name just a few. I am so happy with this machine. It has even helped me change the way I eat and the way I prepare food.

I can now have a hot bowl of home made soup on the table with in 6 minutes. I can then turn around and make a bowl of healthy ice cream. There is nothing like this machine. It will perform 40 different functions it blends, churns, cooks, creams, crushes, chops, dices, freezes, boils, grates, grinds, juices, liquifies, mills, minces, mixes, purees, simmers, stirs, and whips.

I have never made a better batch of hash browns. I can say that because before I got my Vita-Mix, my hash browns were the worst. I wasn't sure what was the best way to prepare them. (The cookbook that comes with the Vita-Mix has a great recipe.) My husband likes his big breakfast on Sunday mornings and I used to hate making it because it would take so long. Well, now I can have the preparation down to under 5 minutes (for everything) and he is at the table eating before you know it. I am so happy with everything this machine does. It makes the best smoothies. I no longer have to go to Jamba Juice, I can make my own at home. It is so easy. My baby girl had the most nutritious baby food because it was 100% natural and fresh. Easy too. She is now 2 and loves her smoothies. I can do so many things with this Vita-Mix, more then I imagined when I purchased it.

You might think okay if it does all these things then what is the catch? Is it hard to clean? The answer to that is there are no catches and this is the easiest machine to clean. Add some hot water and a squirt of soap, blend for a 30 seconds and rinse! It couldn't be simpler. The only thing I would say that could possibly be a con is how loud the machine is. If you are making a bowl of soup and have the machine on high for four minutes, make sure you are not expecting an important phone call because you just might not hear the phone ring, this happened to me. Other than that it is the best blender on the market as far as I am concerned. The company also backs it up with a seven year warranty. A lot longer then any store bought model.
