I have been going through phones at an great rate, as for some reason they just break on me. Now I don't buy the cheapest phone I can either. I go for the better phones that are wireless and near top of the list in quality. Yet they still break on me.
With this in mind, and needing a new phone, again I decided to try a different brand again. This is what I chose for my next try in the saga of broken phones. It has not been almost a year, and these phones are still working well. Finally! A good set of phones.
The features are great too. I really like the clear crisp sound; it is like these are wired phones. Only needing to plug one base in and the other phones all working of one signal is great.
Speaker phone and the monitoring modes are useful when I am the only one home to watch the baby, and I have to go outside to clear the driveway of snow, or take out the trash; I can hear him breathing!
Something I hated on my old phones is that they only remembered the last 20 calls, and there Unidens seem to remember about the last two months of calls on the caller ID!
This phone set does not affect my Wifi network in the house either.
The answering machine is pretty comparable to most, but is accessible from each handset, awesome. I wish it was possible to save multiple answering messages that you can switch between, but its either the one you recorded or the one stored from the factory that you can use. I'd like to say, "HI I am out" or "Hi I am sleeping" without have to re-record messages. I do like that there is a good amount of memory for messages, and the phone doesn't lose its memory if the base station loses power.
One neat feature is setting different ring tones for different people, and all the phones can learn that setting for each person.
