A company should stand behind it's product. This company does not.

When my cheaper priced Dial-up internal modem gave out on me I replaced it with a reputable company's device. Having worked on computers in the past I knew that there was a strong possibility I would need updated software drivers should the Windows operating system continue upgrading. I figured going with the US Robotics name would be a sound investment with these things in mind. I figured wrong. Initially used with the Windows XP operating system I discovered that this modems performance was noticeably slower than that of the previous "no-name" brand I had used before. When I upgrade to Windows Vista the US Robotics modem wouldn't function at all. Knowing this to be a driver software problem I was relieved that I had opted for the reputable brand. However, I'll just let the email reply from US Robotics (concerning my request for updated drivers) below complete my review of their product. Then you can judge for yourself. If I have to stand behind my work when I repair a computer, it's not unreasonable for me to expect the same from the company of any product I would purchase or recommend.
