Internet750U unreliable UPS

Pros: Plenty of outlets and room between them for plugging in AC adapters. 2 year warranty

Cons: Randomly shuts off without warning.

Have had the Tripp Lite Internet750U for about 2 years at work. A few other co-workers had it too. A UPS should be benign and seemlessly kick in during a power failure. It worked fine at first except it would beep annoyingly during any power glitch. After about a year the units began to randomly shut off. Not just mine, but other people's too. There was no warning, it would just shut off. At first it happened once a month. Then it would happen more often. I should have investigated the cause and if it were just mine I would attribute it to a problem in the unit, but other people were having the same issue. I would stay awy from this model until Tripp Lite assures users the problem is sorted out. I will see if Tripp Lite covers it under warranty.
