The Lowdown on the 2005 Highlander

Date of Review:  Jun 15, 2005
The Bottom Line: Better than I expected. Its a generalist SUV if you want to cover all your bases and not excel at anything. Worth a serious look.
Review: The Top Line

2005 Toyota Highlander: My Home Away from Home (on 4 wheels)

Date of Review:  May 19, 2005
The Bottom Line: Toyota makes solid cars and the Highlander is no exception. This is an attractive, solid, reasonably priced car and I love mine.
Review: Note: This is one of my longest reviews. I can't seem to edit it down. I've spent so much time in my Highlander that I have a lot to say about it. If you're interested in something brief, sorry. Try skimming the headers to find what interests you...

Finally found what I wanted

Date of Review:  Dec 21, 2005
The Bottom Line: Buy it. My wife loves to drive it so much that I have to argue with her and fight her over driving the car when we goes places together.
Review: I've looked long and hard for a new SUV. I researched extensively and did a lot of research and a lot of homework before I bought my Highlander. Now after owning this GREAT SUV I wish I didn't spend that much time in research. No domestic SUV...

Date of Review:  Aug 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: get 4 cyl instead of 6cyl unless you tow a 40 foot boat to mountain top lakes on weekends
Review: i had 30 grand to spend on a new car. i do like high mileage since we all know gas prices are never going down but always up. so in sept 2005 i pick up new 2005 highland at the show floor. i am so happy i did not buy the hybird because i get better...

Perfect

Date of Review:  Mar 13, 2007
Review: This is perfect for my family of 5. One gone to college now and it fits us perfect. The 3rd row seat is a little uncomfortable for 12and up. But its fine for quick trips. Love the look and the space it offers. Not to big and not to small. Excellent...
