Pros: Will save you thousands of dollars in gas.
Cons: They get you to every time with the warranty
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend this for anyone that has a chance to beat the oil companies at their own game.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Once upon a time, I can remember when gas was less than a dollar a gallon. But it has been years since we have seen that happen. About five years ago, Toyota came out with a car that they advertised would get around 60 miles to the gallon. This was...

Pros: saves $$$ at the pump, surprisingly roomy, fun to drive
Cons: huge blind spots, not cheap, distracting video screen
The Bottom Line: We plan on buying one in the near future; even though our commutes are short, we can't afford gas at the current prices, and we need high mpg
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I won the use of one of these for 90 days for being a local teacher of the year, so I am getting quite the "test drive." So far I've driven it 5,000 miles; we just got back from a 2,500 mile trip from OK, through KS, MO, IA, MN, SD, WY, and NE. I...

Pros: 47+mpg, very roomy, good for the earth, Bluetooth, navigation
Cons: I wish it was more affordable for more people!
The Bottom Line: I LOVE my Prius! I put over 40,000 in my first year... everyone should have one!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I purchased my Prius October 2007, and it was one of the top 5 best decisions for the year! I actually traded in my Land Rover Discovery and have been oh-so glad that I did that!
Now that the gas prices have finally come down... it's been... |

Pros: Mileage, very smooth ride, good back room, cool gadgets, quiet interior
Cons: Underpowered, geeky looks, turning could be better, driver seat cramped, console could be easier
The Bottom Line: Whether you will like this car depends on what you want out of your car
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: First, a small foreword:
I'm going to start out by saying that this is definitely a good car, but it will not put a huge dent in oil company profits or the upcoming oil crisis like so many hybrid lovers so eagerly claim. This is mostly... |

Pros: Economical, utilitarian, well engineered, not boring.
Cons: Relatively expensive, complicated (to repair), not overtly sporty.
The Bottom Line: It's not the car of the future, but it is definitely pointing the way.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: So, after giving my wife's aging Passat to one of the kids, we were in the market for a new car. She commutes, I work from home, so there was no rush to get a second car. The main criterion was that it had to be reasonably fuel efficient. (She also...

Review: After my first month of driving I love my new Prius. Best way to describe it is well made, smart, and unique. I am 6' tall and have no problem with seating, however, I would like the seat to have height adjustment. That is the only thing I don't...

Pros: Really fun to drive in town - mileage, handling
Cons: Rear visibility is horrible (even with camera)! Feels light on freeway, especially around trucks.
The Bottom Line: Would buy again unless doing a lot of highway driving. Also, would choose a package 3 rather than package 2.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We have had our 2008 Prius about four months and still love to drive it, in fact, we don't know of anyone who has one that doesn't. (It only took my wife 5 min. to decide, when she first drove it that she had to have it - unfortunately the salesman...

Pros: Gas mileage, although more like 38 mpg. Bigger inside than it looks.
Cons: Beeps all the time (when backing up, seat belts, doors, etc.). Blind spots. Uncomfortable seats.
The Bottom Line: Recommended for a small car.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Overall good car. More guts than one might think, and it can zip around. It has an easy ride and handels fairly well. It is low to the ground. The beeps that it makes is very annoying and it would be nice to turn that feature off. I thought the rear...

Pros: Handles well, I get 54 mpg. Fits 6'4" hubby, two car seats, me and groceries.
Cons: Annoying beeper when backing up (which can be silenced), distracting fuel consumption screen.
The Bottom Line: Rent one from your Toyota dealer for the weekend, evaluate whether it'll suit your needs. I love mine.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I'm a small car person, but after our first child, I let my husband talk me into a van. I absolutely loved it, but as we watched both our family and gas prices grow, we found we needed better gas mileage. I was thinking a more standard car, like the...
