Great mobile for any baby

I purchased this mobile before my son was born. I wanted a mobile that I don’t have to keep winding up and is actually entertaining to my child. I came across The First Years Baby Dreams In Sight Mobile With Remote Control and had to have it. When my son was born I would turn it on for him and he was less than enthusiastic about it. He is now 6 months old and he loves it. I would say when he was about 2-3 months is when he really began to take notice of it. He loves to just lay underneath it and watch the little bugs go by slowly and he will actually chatter at them in his own little language. On many occasions when he is having trouble drifting off to sleep, I will just turn it on and he will become so entranced with the light show that within minutes he is fast asleep.

It plays three classical songs and one tranquil nature sounds each with its own cute button. You are able to control the music with a remote as too not disturb baby during the show! The music plays for ten minutes then shuts off to save battery life; when on the correct setting, you just push the bug on the remote and it will play for an additional ten minutes. There is also a volume control with two settings (I keep mine on low because the highest is almost too loud). As the bugs turn clockwise, the lights on the canopy turn counterclockwise.

The only thing I wish this mobile did is include a setting for only lights and no music. The combo of lights and music is entertaining but sometimes when he is trying to fall asleep it is a little to stimulating.
A lot of the time we have to prop the little bugs on top of the canopy so he doesn't talk to them all night long. The bugs are easy to take off and put on.

Overall, I would recommend this mobile to anyone. It has great features, easy to use and set up, nicely priced and the best thing is that my child LOVES it!
