I am a huge country music person. I have never seen anyone like Taylor Swift. She is rolling up the charts and everyone loves her weather they are 8 years old or in their 50’s. When Taylor Swift first came out with the song “Tim McGraw I think everyone turned their head and was like who is this girl. Taylor then came out with more songs that sailed the charts. What is so awesome about her is she is only 16 and her songs are down to earth and can relate to a lot of people.
Top songs: “Tim McGraw”- I remember when she first sang this song at the CMA she actually went up to Tim McGraw and freaked out because he was there. It is about a teenage love during the summertime. And her catchy phrase “When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me” This song is no song to dance to but it is a catchy song that will get you singing.
“Our Song” I think when she released this song in the radio I was going to scream. Everyone related this song to their relationship with their significant other. This cute song is about a girl who gets thinking that her and her boyfriend don’t have a song. He reminds her “our song is the slam of screan door sneakin out late tappin on your window…” Just the beauty of having a loved one around makes for a our song
After those two songs were released Taylor Swift still had some songs up her sleeve. With “Tears on my guitar” a slower song that talks about how she likes this boy and he is falling for another girl. “Picture to burn” a faster beat song that is about a girl who just broke up with her boyfriend and he is just another picture to burn. We have all felt that way about our ex’s. “Should of said no” this song I heard for the first time at the CMA awards I think last year and she had the coolest outfit. She used that performance as her videos.
For this being Taylor Swifts first C-D out I would have to say she has done a excellent job. She has songs that relate to my life and what a teenager is going through. She is a role model for any girls. I read in a magazine that she was trying to decide if she wanted a tattoo but relizing she is a rolemodel didn’t want to give off that image to little girls.
I would recommend anyone this CD and to look forward to some more great work from the young artist.
