Product Review

Neat gadget, but one problem

by   RonKral ,   Aug 22, 2006

Pros:  Really plug-and-play - I didn't even install the software.

Cons:  Memory stick goes in too far and is (VERY) hard to remove.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

Love this gadget. Much easier to load digital camera pictures than the awkward cable that comes with the DSC200 camera. That said, I have one of the newer small memory sticks and have an adapter for my camera. The first time I used this, I pushed in the stick/adapter combo and then COULDN'T get it out! It goes WAY in and there's not enough to grip to remove it! I had to (carefully) use a set of needle-nosed pliers to pull it out. The next time, I plugged in the gadget, then pushed in the memory stick just enough for it to register. No problems getting it back out that time. Other than that, no problems. I did not even install the software - Windows XP recognized it and installed something automatically to make it work.
