Great convenience and quality-plays all my DVDs

I found my SLV-350P to be very easy to hook up and use. I haven't had any DVD player problems the other reviewers wrote about, so maybe they were unlucky or Sony fixed the problem. I have also played an audio CD with no problem, but I haven't tried an MP3 CD yet.

I think this combo unit has excellent value, especially with DTS audio, which sounds great. It would have been nice though if it would have been clearer in the manual or on-screen that the default was for DTS to be off. I watched a whole movie with that bad artificial surround sound when I could have had the real thing.

The video output from the VCR was exceptionally clear compared to the stand-alone VCR I replaced with the Sony.

I also would prefer to be able to select between the remote controlling my TV's volume and my (Sony) receiver's volume.
