Great value and upgrades are free

Pros:  Awesome quality, only way to watch action flicks.

Cons:  Configuration can be challenging.  Not for the technically deficient.

Author's Review

Key benefit to this device for BluRay vs standard players is the upgradability.  I have had numerous software updates since I purchased the unit more than a year ago.  All of the BluRay discs play beautifully including all of the BD LIVE discs.
The quality of the playback is awesome.  
The only downside is that while I purchased the separate Bluetooth remote which originally worked beautifully, once I hooked up a soundbar with subwoofer surround sound system, the remote no longer works and the integration with other equipment has become a bit more complicated.  
However, in the end, despite the usage challenges, the quality is supreme, especially when played back on my Sony XBR Bravia 1080P LCD.
