Sony KDF-42WE655 LCD Projection HDTV

The Bottom Line: A beautiful HD picture, fine sound, built in HD tuner, and even a decent SD picture make this hard to beat in this price range. An easy TV to recommend.
Review: I went through the long and confusing selection process that most big screen TV buyers suffer through. Plasma looks great but what about burn-in and durability? DLP is fantastic, but what about the rainbow effect and headaches? LCD...poor black...

Great HD, disappointing SD

The Bottom Line: If you are only using this for HD, it is an excellent value. If you still use SD signals regularly, pause and consider before you toss that trinitron!

Sony Grand Wega , inherently defective and SONY inherently apathetic about it

The Bottom Line: Stay away! Buy from a manufacturer that owns up to their defects, if any, and will make things right. SONY isn't that company.
Review: I've had my Sony Grand Wega KDF-42WE655 for just 27 months. It went on record as the most expensive television set I ever owned, I'm an avid TV viewer.

Went it developed a strange, random "pattern" in the picture, I was heartbroken...
