Pros: Incredibly comfortable, noise cancellation comes cheap, the AAA battery seems to last for eternity.
Cons: Slight sound leakage, and the cord could stand to be longer (in my opinion.)
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I picked up a pair of these at Office Depot for $40 recently after a friend recommended them. The noise cancellation effect really gave my previous headphones (some old earplug types) a kick in the butt. I generally use these late at night on my...

Pros: They reduce airplane cabin noise and sound good as well.
Cons: None of any significance
The Bottom Line: Before you run out and spend $300 on a really expensive headphone, try these.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I try not to stare, but whenever I board an airplane I have to inventory the electronics in the First Class cabin.
On one trip I spied an Apple MacBook Air and two iPhones in the First Class cabin. The balance of these passenger were using... |

Pros: it's light, has a long cord, adjustable, and comfortable.
Cons: uses batteries, not compact.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review:
the headphones are great, they don't make the music distorted at a high volume, and the noise cancellation is mediocre. Sony suggests the noise thing is its best feature, but it really isn't. It doesn't work with regular talking and normal noise,... |

Pros: Fair audio quality, low price.
Cons: Noise cancellation limited to specific low frequencies, susceptible to wind noise.
The Bottom Line: Ok for a cheap entry level NC headset. I would recommend a set with over the ear cups to cut wind noise, and a more comfortable head band.

Review: I won't go into long detail here, since there are many reviews of this product already.

Pros: Decent sound, compact design, only requires one battery
Cons: Painful after a while, noise canceling unit picks up wind, weird pops.
The Bottom Line: I can't with good conscience recommend headphones that hurt after normal use. For $50 headphones should be comfortable.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I bought these after breaking my Sennheiser PXC-150s and returning a pair of Creative HN-505s, hoping that they would fill the gap left by my Senns for a lower price (Circuit City had them for $40).
I was initially pleased with the sound,... |

Pros: well-built, good materials, includes a draw-string carrying bag, 3.5mm plug works with Ipods.
Cons: Poor noise cancellation, adds a hiss to quieter sounds when N/C is engaged.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: If you are looking for significant noise cancellation, these aren't for you. If listening to music, when you turn on the N/C, you get louder music with an added hiss that wasn't there before. For the cost, they are a well constructed, just not the...
