Author's Review
We got this camera to take close up pictures to use for advertising a booklet that my husband wrote on key conversion for the Guitar, as the camera we had before didn't let us get close enough. While I still love my other camera for some things, we really like the clear pictures and the ease in using this compact digital and it does everything and more than some larger camera. And the price was good too, so I really didn't expect it to work and look as good as it does.
We used the photos to sell his book on ebay and they are close enough to read the words and notes, so he has been able to sell quite a few books, because of the clear photos.
We were able to take great photos of the hills when we visited our farm in Arkansas, because of the zoom feature, and we were able to get good closeup photos of the deer in our backyard from inside the house.
We also take pictures of others on vacation and then send them in emails, to the people we meet along the way. It makes the trips more memorable. We are able to highlight special occasions by getting great pictures, like when we celebrated our 40th anniversary by taking a trip on the Minnesota Zephyr and then getting pictures of the people on the train and ourselves. We used our picture to display on a website that lets our children see us and the picture when we talk.
There are so many things this camera can do, and the neatest thing is the small size. My husband slips it into his shirt pocket every time we leave the house, so we never have to worry about forgetting it and missing out on special memories, like when we got pictures of our newest grandson in a hospital neonatal bed because he was so small. And we got pictures of our newest Great-grandson when we went to visit over the holidays. It's so easy when you can just pop the camera in a pocket and forget its there until you see that perfect camera shot appear, and then you are ready for it. It also has a microphone on it and you can take short video pictures with it, and we haven't even learned how these features work yet!
