A good low end changer

If you are looking for a changer to go in your car or truck and do not want to invest in a head unit and CD changer married together, this is a good alternative. I have been a fan of Sony for a long time and purchased a 424 RF unit new, but off of eBay. It is a good, solid piece of equipment and shuffles those 10 discs better than I ever good. It was very easy to hook up and did not require a lot of my time. I like the functionality of the wired remote, it works well inside my truck with easy to read numbers and function buttons.

This player does present a somewhat muffled sound with some of the CD's I play. I am not sure if there is a conflict with the FM modulation or perhaps its the way FM modulation works with these changers. A clearer sound was expected, but the tradeoffs with the ability to house 10 discs and play them remotely is worth it.
