Soap Opera Digest Magazine

Overall, this magazine is informative and is a decent price but they are out to trick you. So you need to decide for yourself if its worth it!
You've all seen this magazine at the grocery store one time or another. I like this magazine because most of the time I am too busy to watch the soap so its nice to have another way to keep up with what's going on. Definitely worth the money, but if you have the internet it’s a cheaper bet.
Soap Opera Digest Magazine is all about Soap Operas on daytime TV. The magazine has about 150 pages and has anything and everything you could think of about all the soaps on all the channels. I think the cost is somewhere around 2.99 per issue. Still one of the cheaper magazines out there. Its cheaper if you buy a subscription.
The contents in this magazine vary of course you have your visual news like the Coming and Goings, where you find out who is leaving a soap or who is coming to a soap, VCR Alert, this is where you find out when to program your VCR, Gossip, and Late Breaking News, which is all the juicy details. It also has columns that run on a weekly It also provides basis like: Sing Along, which is the name of the songs that have been playing during the love scenes, Mail Bag, which is what the fans have to say about the soaps, Classic Lines? which are one liners that must be read, and That's A Fact, which is about your favorite actors. There is also a section called Readers Favorites, which includes Thumbs Up Thumbs Down, that is usually a 2-Page article that features the ups and downs of that particular week, and its either on a certain actor or their character or their clothing. I can't forget to tell you about the Calendar section, which I really like because it lists all sorts of important dates. I rather like the synopses section because it tells you everything that happened last week.
They started this new thing, which by the way I really hate, called 2 covers pick 1. They pick two certain weeks and then they have two different covers with the same content in both. How dumb is that? Freaking stupid if you ask me. I guess they are trying to be sneaky. Who knows.
Overall, this magazine is informative and is a decent price but they are out to trick you. So you need to decide for yourself if its worth it!
