Skull Candy Headphones
Date of Review: Nov 23, 2008
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend these headphones to anyone unless you like having sore ears.
A good pair of headphones are hard to find. Most of the time, the good ones cost a whole bunch and the cheap ones either don't work well, they will be staticky or they will hurt your head and ears. When I bought this pair for my laptop, I was surprised to see how bad they actually were. I should have expected it since they didn't cost me that much. ($29.99)
They looked like they would be awesome when I bought them and when they arrived I was thrilled because of how awesome the packaging made them seem. But despite the great way the headphones look, they seriously let me down in the quality department. When I put them on my head they didn't exactly fit and even though I adjusted them, they still hung loose on my head. Besides that, they hurt my ears. The pads that were meant to comfort my ears only made them sore and caught in my earrings, pulling them out a couple of times. Then when I used them to listen to my music on my laptop, all I could hear was static and a kind of white buzzing noise in the background. I even turned my music up to drown the noise out but it only made things worse, amplifying the noise instead of my songs.
All in all, I suggest you find a different pair of headphones because these aren't worth the plastic they're made of.
