Sennheiser HD 280 Professional Headphones

I bought these when my 7 year old Optimus headphones (~$50 pair) broke. These Sennheisers are a huge improvement. The response is completely flat, they are much more comfortable than my other headphones. After extended wear (a few hours) they are somewhat tiring, but not nearly as bad as other headphones I've used. The cord is of a great length and terminates with a 1/8 inch connector (comes with screw-on 1/4 inch adapter), like most devices use now. They fold up into a fairly small form, enough to travel with. With good quality, well recorded music it sounds as though you are listening in a perfectly quiet room (30 something decibels of passive attenuation) with very high quality speakers.
