Excellent Flat Screen LCD television

I purchased my Samsung TV from Amazon.com. They had it for around $2100 with free shipping & no taxes. Overall, I am pleased with my decision.

While it is a flat screen, I found the tv to be very heavy to lift and position. It really requires two people to set up. I have it positioned on a built-in shelf in my house. From every angle, the picture is clear. Also, this TV distinguishes itself from other flat screen LCDs in that fast motion/action is not blurred or pixelated (probably due to the 4ms response time). The picture is crystal clear and even non-high definition channels look very good.

The built in speakers are also very good quality. I am impressed by the roubust sound and clarity.

The red tint around the edges is very light and is not even noticeable if there is no light behind the TV. I think it would show up more if the TV is placed in an area where light can reflect through the back.

The main PROs of this tv are that it is 1080p (not i), 4 ms response time, 120 hz automotion plus processer, and the Digital Natural Image engine, LCDs use less power than plasma screens.

It is viewable and clear from every angle. Also, it makes a neat sound upon turning it on (like a start up sound of a computer).

As for the extra features, the tv has:
Internal flash memory (1GB) with pre-loaded interactive content

Also, if you are tech savvy, the TV has the ability to sync with computers, etc. I just haven't tried this out yet.

As for the other reviewers gripes, I don't see it. There is no problem with the pixels. Most of the Amazon.com reviews agree with my conclusion that the set is great!
