Big and bright and easy to use

I really like this TV. Lots of inputs, simple to set up, great picture, clean look, quick to turn on, and very light for its size, not too difficult to access the input jacks.

DLPs are the cheapest big screen option, way cheaper than plasma and LCD in these larger sizes. This unit is pretty thick, so make sure you have at least 19 inches for the depth. This unit needs at least 3 inches of empty space behind it for venting, so don't cut it too close on size.

DLPs also have thinner bezels, this is great if you are trying to get the biggest picture you can in a certain amount of space. Who wants a big bezel, they just take room. DLP can have a thin bezel because there is no electronics in the screen, its just a screen!

DLPs are light, mainly empty space, but it is really just a DLP projector, a few mirrors and a big plastic screen. This means that it is easy for one person to pull the set out to get at the inputs. In addition, you don't have to pull it all the way out because the inputs are on the size of the unit.

This DLP uses an LED rather than a hot, slow to power-on lamp. It has plenty of light output, stays cooler, doesn't need frequent replacement, and best of all, turns on quickly.

Channel switching depends on whether you are switching to an analogue channel or a digital channel, analogue is fast but digital is slow, don't ask me way, but that seems to be the way it is on all the sets.

Unlike earlier DLPs and projection TVs, this unit has a wide angle of view, meaning you can sit at a pretty wide angle and only lose a little of the light output.
