Samsonite doesn't help at all

Yeah, just buy one of these bags and see if the airlines think it is 62". The airlines measure mine all the time and tell me that with the wheels it is 64". I think it's 65". I now have to pack duffle bags so as to avoid the $100 over-size fee each way, and I certainly expect it to get denied one day soon.

I wrote Samsonite twice, and they sent me a 10% off coupon (for use at a Samsonite store) as my consolation for the hassle. The joke was that even though it has an integrated TSA lock, Samsonite says people use it to travel in all sorts of situations, not just air. Ha! You decide if this is the airport situation and company you want to deal with.

Too bad. But there are other companies in the business that I think have a little more integrity.
