We now own three of these wonderful keyboards and I will never use anything else! Not only do these provide a lit up keyboard so you can see what you are doing, the typing with these keys is very comfortable and quiet!
We own two blue back-lit keyboards and also own this red back-lit keyboard. My husband and I prefer the blue as the red seems to bother our eyes somewhat. The red back-lit is no problem for our teenage son and that is the color he wanted, so it went to his computer.
I am having a problem with one of the blue back-lit keyboards, and will be contacting Saitek this upcoming week to see if they will help us out. I'm not sure if a key gets stuck or what, but it will start typing on it's own and not typing what I want it to. I thought I was being hacked by someone! We have had this problem with it once before on my husband's computer and he thought it was a design flaw. It sat in his closet for a while, then he got it back out and and put it on my computer. It worked great for several months, then the same thing happened again. We ordered this particular one from Buy.com and it is a few months past the returnable date they will accept it back. Hopefully, their technical support will be able to assist us with this problem.
We have had no problems with the other blue one or with the red one. I do have to say that the three lights at the top of the keyboard are pretty bright, so my husband put a piece of tape over the one that bothered me. I can still see the light, but it is not as bright and bothersome as it was prior to his doing this. I am light sensitive anyway and the blue vs. red was much more comfortable to my eyes.
