horrible

I bought this gate to keep my toddler from falling down the stairs. I liked the extra light feature and the fact that it was made of metal rather than wood and appeared to be much more sturdy than some others out there.

This gate has been installed in my home for less than 2 months. In that time the handle of the gate has stuck many times, the gate has managed to open in the wrong direction (over the stairs despite supposed safety features to prevent this) and today when my husband went to open it the whole thing came off it's hinges in his hands. Not at all a product I have confidence in.
