Good product

I bought this stair gate a number of months ago when my daughter started to crawl. We have installed it at the top of the stairs. My favorite feature about the product is the motion sensor night light feature. There is a built in night light that illuminates when you approach the gate. This is great because I don't have to have a regular night light plugged into an outlet in the hall. This would be a waste of energy and would bother me when I am trying to sleep. I find this particularly useful when I leave for work early in the morning. A flashing light tells you when the battery is low.

I also quite like the handle on the gate. It is easy to use, yet difficult enough to operate that my daughter is not able to figure it out. It is also relatively easy to lock the gate hands free. It is possible to do so by pushing it with your foot or giving it a nudge with your hip if your hands are not free.

The product was also very easy to install and seems to be quite sturdy and safe. The secure lock feature tells you when the gate is locked and when it is not. The bars are impossible for my daughter to climb and she has yet to defeat this gate.
