Granny move over.. it's my turn.

I learned to crochet at a young age, you see my grandmother taught me how, just like she taught all of the female grandchildren. I guess it was just one of those things to be passed on among us girls. Back then I made alot of really big, oddly shaped squares. Now a days, my house is full of different projects on the go, or finished. I do so much of the craft of crochet now that I am on exchange groups with other people just as addicted as I am.

Well enough rambling about me and my addiction to this classic craft past-time. How about a little about this wonderful little magazine.

First Glance:

My goodness this is a tiny publication, why would I bother to pick up something that really only takes a minute to flip through at the counter.

More then meets the eye:

This little magazine has some of the old favorites in it. Patterns that only your grandma used to know. The ones that bring back fond memories of days gone by. Wait wait.. not those tacky things ... those beautiful heirloom peices you wish your mother had kept for you instead of getting rid of them at the last family yard sale.

This magazine is full of clear, easy to read patterns of all stages, from novice to advanced. It includes helpful articles on new techniques and ideas for those projects on the go and how to store them nicely.

This is not a magazine full of ads, you know the ones that have three pages of ads to every one page of information.

Over all:

This is a small little magazine with alot of big heart feelings. By the way... it really isn't just from granny anymore.
