Moms, Please Read

My mother in law got me this book as a gift for Christmas and I can't stress enough how important I feel this book is to mothers. In this book, Gavin De Becker had me rethink everything I thought about the safety of my child. For example "Don't talk to strangers" is not going to neccessarily help your child to remain safe. Mothers who read this book will get a great understanding how we can best keep our precious children safe and how best to teach our children about the dangers they face today.

After reading "Protecting the Gift" I feel 100% more confident that I can offer my child the confidence to face an uncertain world. It offers a piece of mind and I will keep it on my nightstand forever to help keep my thoughts straight in regard to my son's safety.

This book is a fairly easy read but one must be able to concentrate on what the author is saying so I recommend that it be read when the reader has some quiet time to read it. Mothers (and fathers) should read this book as soon as they are able to.
