Pros: Very high quality sound, horn-loaded
Cons: Pricey, flakey speaker connections and volume control pots.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended, despite some weaknesses. Very good sound quality, but you should definitely know about some of the product's flaws.

Review: Klipsch's Famous Horn-Loaded Speakers, Computer Style
Klipsch is famous for horn-loaded speakers. In simple terms, this means that in addition to normal drivers, Klipsch speakers have horns in them, which are nice and directional... |

Pros: Loud, accurate sound reproduction, very good bass, uses standard wires
Cons: Still more expensive than your average 2.1 speaker set.
The Bottom Line: Still the best 2.1 computer speakers around!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Klipsch computer speakers are considered one of the best computer speakers around. The Promedia 2.1 was introduced some time in 1999. However, they are still being manufactured and sold today, proving that Klipsch does not mess with perfection. In...

Pros: Best 2.1 speakers on the market, THX, high quality sound, good construction
Cons: Price, not a full surround system,
The Bottom Line: If you're in the market for 2.1 speakers, this is the best. There is no better product, as long as you can swing the $180 price tag.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Introduction
You can't have a discussion about computer speakers without talking about Klipsch. A few years ago, few could even spell Klipsch, but times have changed. Today Klipsch's ProMedia v.2 400 speaker set sets the bar for all... |

Pros: Sound Quality Price
Cons: All the wires
The Bottom Line: I would never consider buying speakers again without considering Klipsch, the quality and price are incomparable.

Review: These speakers truly pack bang for the buck. We recently moved to the US from outside the country and have all of our things including thousands of dollars of professional grade Sony audio visual equipment in storage in another country. Shipping...

Pros: incredible sound all around, good volume and bass control, pleasant not-over-the-top design
Cons: power switch located on the back of the subwoofer, paltry 22-gauge speaker wire included
The Bottom Line: The impossibly good sound these produce are well worth having to deal with the power switch on the rear of the sub. Why own anything else?
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Yes, it's true; I almost bought another set of PC speakers other than the Klipsch Promedia 2.1. I don't know what I was thinking at the time, but I saved up a week longer and bought these. I haven't thought about the other set I was going buy ever...

Pros: Fantastic sound, very low distortion, rich clean bass, sturdy construction
Cons: Green Led is too bright, no remote, needs connectors of the speaker wires
The Bottom Line: If you looking for some speakers for your computer that will sound spectacular and last a very, very long time then these speakers are well worth the price.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I purchased my klipsch speakers because I am partially a audiophile and a gamer and these speakers are ready and willing for the task.
Let me just start by saying that these speakers sound spectacular, but then again they are some of the... |

Pros: Great sound, great price
Cons: Weird power switch location
The Bottom Line: Just buy 'em- they blow away the Logitechs, and they look great.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I actually had orginally purchased the top end Logitech jobs, but was shocked to hear clipping and mid-range vibration on some music from them. So back they went and in came the Klipsch's. I made agreat choice- these babies are LOUD, yet quite...

Pros: Excellent sound quality, fantastic looks, manageable footprint.
Cons: Connections to speaker have failed on multiple sets, resulting in unbearable sound.
The Bottom Line:
The sound quality is tremendous, especially for a 2.1 set. However, the speakers are simply not durable enough to recommend to serious users. This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I have owned two of these sets of Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers over the last 6 years. I use my speakers for several hours every day. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the sound. You can turn these up high enough to power any party, or if...

Pros: very good sound quality, high power, headphone jack, input jack, compact.
Cons: pricey, power switch is on sub, unpredictably unreliable jacks.
The Bottom Line: Outstanding quality, nice features, very high power, but still has some design flaws. A very good choice if you can live with those little things.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I got these speakers as a christmas gift last year and I've been very satisfied with them overall. Klipsch has an outstanding reputation for making great speakers and I knew I had to have them after I heard my brother's set of 2.1's.

Pros: Clear sound, deep bass
Cons: Expensive for a 2.1!
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers if you are willing to spend the extra money for them. They blow away iHomes and other iPod/PC speakers.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've had the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers for over 2 years now. The speaker set is actually quite old and has been on the market for a while. At first I was turned off by their high price tag, but after buying an Altec-Lansing 2.1 set that made a...
