Pioneering Sounds of the Future

I bought my Pioneer DEH- P77DH headunit for two main reasons; because I have had only good experiences with pioneer headunits, and because it keeps the stock look in your GM/Chysler by fitting perfectly into the stock stereo space. The headunit is sleek looking, easy to use, and works out great with or without an expensive stereo system.

My headunit is mounted in my 1999 Chevy S-10 extended cab. I installed it myself with minimal effort, and have been extreamly happy with the way it looks and functions in my truck. It keeps the stock look by filling the entire hole left after removing my stock AM/FM cassette player. I have been using this headunit for nearly a year and a half now, and it still looks great. The colorful full size display also offers a nice custom look to your stereo. With a little yellow, red, and blue light inside the display, it brightens the interior of your car as well as making it quick and easy to focus in on the function you want to use.

The functions are fairly easy to use, however you may need to look a couple of them up in the owners manual to figure out how to use them. But with only 5 program buttons, 1 for audio, 2 for visual effects, and 2 to adjust the different specifics of play.

My Favorite part of this headunit is the funcionality of it. When I originaly installed my pioneer, it was the only part of my stereo that had been replaced. Not only did it add a cool custom look to the cab of my truck, but the difference in sound quality was amazing. Since then, All of my stock speakers have been replaced, a new 10 inch subwoofer was installed, and a pair of high end tweeters have turned my 4 speaker stereo into a 7 speaker monster system all run and controlled from my pioneer headunit. This unit has made a fine addition to my stereo, and works great as a control center for my stereo.

I would definatly reccommend this headunit to any Mopar/GM vehicle owners who feel that their existing headunit is just not doing the job anymore. Although a little more expensive that other headunits, it definatly lives up to any expectations you can set.
