Great ear buds for the money!

I am an absolute music fanatic and am always looking for the best sound without draining my bank account in the process.
I have had many Sony headphones and didn't think the sound was that great and they always fall out out my ear. I went to Target one fine day and spotted the Phillips SHE9501 so wanting to try something different in my ongoing quest for better sound I bought the $30 Phillips ear buds.
In the box: there is a choice of insert sizes for different sized ears and the felt pouch is pretty nice as well. The 3.5mm cord has a gold 3.5mm plug right in the middle of it so you can use the short cord option for players that ride on you're arm and you don't need all that cord to get in the way and get tangled, very well thought out.

Sound quality: The frequency response is rated at 6 Hz - 23500 kHz. the low6 HZ beans these little bugger handle some bass, and I am a bass freak. The 23500 HZ means it can handle some pretty high frequencies most likely higher than I can hear, but it is nice to know they can do it I have wonder why more expensive headphones are not rated in this wide of range so this is the first thing that impressed me. I started using them with my Pinoeer Inno MP3 XM radio and now I use them with my new Sony Walkman MP3 player and was impressed with the bass response as it sounds deep and rich, The ear buds do a good job of sealing out the world as you have a choice of inserts to fit different size ears. for $30 ear buds I was really impressed. I listen to groups like God smack, Korn ,Offspring and some jazz and classical as well, and the Phillips SHE9501 perform flawlessly as now I have had them a year and never a problem at all despite all the times the cord has gotten inadvertently yanked where lesser designs would be toast, My many Sony headphones didn't hold up very well and I have put many in the trash.
I have yet to get brave enough to fork over 100+ dollars for ear buds so I don't know how well these compete with the higher end stuff, but for $30 they sound great and are well worth the money and a year later the still perform flawlessly!
