The Bottom Line: Save your money until you can purchase a better quality camcorder to preserve your memories.
Review: I bought this camera for $250 on Black Friday. It was replacing an old Sony 8mm. After much research it seemed that Mini DV was the way to go.

Review: this camera is good if you outdoors and in good light. otherwise forget it. low light is exaggerated to darker. the light is good for subjects only a 2.5 feet away. and the light makes everything blueish and the white stabilizer doesn't correct it...
