her body may be dead, but her ghost is quite alive!

The following are a list of characters and who they are played by:
Kate (Eva Longoria): Is the now dead bride-to-be that was killed on her wedding day
Henry (Paul Rudd): Kate's husband-to-be who is distraught a year after his bride's sudden passing
Ashley (Lake Bell): Caterer/ psychic that Henry is taken to for a "reading" by his sister
Chloe (Lindsay Sloane): Henry's sister who thinks he needs to hear from the ghost of his fiance in order to finally move on and be happy.

The overall plot of the movie is that Kate and Henry were set to be married and Kate is killed on their wedding day.  After over a year of grieving and not doing much with his life, Henry's sister Chloe steps in and takes him to Ashley the psychic, hoping that Kate will give him a message from the beyond to move on with his life.  When this doesn't happen, Chloe gives Ashley Kate's diary with tons of details to convince Henry that she is really speaking to Kate's ghost.  Ashley inadverately finds herself falling for Henry, only to be confronted by Kate's ghost as she desparately tries to chase her away from the love of her life.  What ensues is an all out battle for Henry that makes Ashley look completely crazy. 

I recently rented this movie on a rainy day with nothing else to do.  I really didn't expect much from it but was decently surprised.  Although there is nothing extraordinary or spectacular about the film, it has a fun (although predictable) plot with a couple of good stars (Jason Biggs, Eva Longoria) and some good music (Sugarcult, All American Rejects) that keep you smiling and enjoying the film.  Overall its not painful by any means to watch, but also not the most exciting film either.
