Very good camera!

Pros:  Very compact. No overweight. Easy to use. Impressive for night shots.

Cons:  Consumes lots of energy. Rechargeable batteries needed. Should come with microphone!

Very good camera. Photo quality is very good at low resolutions, but also very impressive at high resolutions. It's perfect for a gift. Lacks a little bit of more optical zoom, and there is no way to disable the automatic preview of the last picture taken, so it takes a while to be ready for the next shot (approx. 5 seconds). I think it should come along with the power adapter. No direct support for Linux, but images can be retrieved using the camera as another USB device.



I am very pleased with my Olympus FE-100.
