The Xterra puts the Sport-Utility back in SUV

Date of Review:  Jul 14, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for an SUV to use for all those outdoor activities, this is the one for you, no matter what you do outside.
Review: My wife and I have owned this car for a year now and love it. If you're an outdoor, camping, biking, hiking, climbing, nature person, then you will too. The Xterra does everything an SUV should for someone who uses it for things apart from soccer...

An Award Winner.

The Bottom Line: I enjoyed taking it for a spin and I would definitely consider buying one in the future. Test drive one also, you will enjoy it.
Review: Nissan Xterra 2003

An Award Winner.

After making its first appearance on the North American market in 2000 and having won many awards for best new SUV the Xterra is going strong.

The Xterra is a very rugged mid-size SUV...

The Car that is EVERYWHERE

Date of Review:  Sep 14, 2004
The Bottom Line: I would suggest testing it out first on a highway. If you like it and can't afford a more expensive SUV, then go with the Nissan Xterra.
Review: I have had my 2003 Nissan Xterra for about 15 months now. I got it after my Ford Explorer was taken out by a Semi on the freeway.

The 2003 Nissan Xterra handles differently than the 2000, 2001 or 2002 Xterra. It is made to handle more like...

I miss my old car

Date of Review:  Jan 27, 2004
The Bottom Line: I would reccomend looking elswhere. Pay the extra money and get what you want. Its worth it in the end.
Review: I traded in a VW Passat for the 2003 Xterra SE. What a mistake. I moved to northern Vermont and we had two big snow storms two weeks in a row. Each storm dumped about 30 inches of snow. We also had smaller storms with about 8 inches of snow. Each...

I got what I wanted and I love it!!

Date of Review:  Mar 14, 2008
The Bottom Line: I love it and would definitely buy it again; you just have to want this type of car.
Review: After my little sporty hatchback met its fate parked under a falling tree in a rainstorm, I started feeling nostalgic for my old Bronco. Flash forward and I ended up leaving an auction with my 2003 Xterra XE 2wd 5 speed manual with only 38k miles...

Our New 4x4 Toy

Date of Review:  Aug 24, 2003
The Bottom Line: I was very impressed with this vehicle, it has a rugged look and power to back it. Our extensive SUV search is finally over. Highly recommend for Mid-size SUV choice.
Review: The review below is based on our 1st week of Ownership of our Nissan Xterra with the sport package (fog lights, 2 extra power outlets, cloth door inserts) Power package (Power windows, doors, remote keyless entry), and the Auto dimming mirror with...

An SUV for the purist!

Date of Review:  Oct 9, 2003
The Bottom Line: I recommend this vehicle to anyone wanting a serious SUV that still maintains good comfort on the highway.
Review: I had intended to wait until I had owned this vehicle longer before reviewing it, but I cannot keep quiet about it. I LOVE IT! I was driving a 1995 V6 4Runner with AT and full power package that gave me MANY problems, and finally traded it on this...

2003 nissan xterra

Date of Review:  Jan 4, 2003
The Bottom Line: Awesome family car. Very reliable and safe.
Review: Although marked to the active out doors type it also makes a great family car. The Xterra's safety features in gas mileage make this car in my opinion perfect for a run though the mountains or a run to the store.

The options that are...

4 doors with teeth

Date of Review:  Aug 7, 2003
The Bottom Line: Research before buying in this class. If you care about offroad performance/durability with 4 doors, the Xterra is the ONLY choice. If you just want 4 doors, look elsewhere.
Review: I researched a vehicle to fit my lifestyle for quite some time. With the amount of time I spend in the mountains, most of the small SUV's out there are not up to snuff. What distinguished the Xterra from the Honda CR-V, the Toyota RAV4, Jeep Liberty...

We absolutely LOVE IT! Join the XTERRA Club!

Date of Review:  Aug 7, 2008
The Bottom Line: Completely recommend this vehicle. Wonderful ride, fun to drive, Sporty look.
Review: We purchased this vehicle in 2003 and five years later, we still love it!

For our family of five, this vehicle fits our needs very well. It's easy and fun to drive, and with all the kids carrying around their portable game systems, the...
