Best cars I ever owned - and I owned two!

I bought my first used Altima in '94, it as a 1993 manual transmission. I drove it to 120,000 miles and nearly cried when it was totaled in an accident earlier this year - I intended to drive it until it died.

Our second Altima was a 1995, also a manual, purchased in '97 and loved it until we had to trade in on a minivan last year.

Only one problem: at about 60K miles each of the two Altimas lost their alternators, roughly a $350 repair. Also beware of the exhaust systems - like many Japanese cars they often rust out before you hit 60K if you live in wintry regions.
