Adventures?
Pros:
A fun game.
Cons:
Being that is 2 disc's...I didn't like that idea.
The Bottom Line:
If you love to collect Nancy Drew , Then this is more of a
collector's item.

Nancy Drew Secrets Can Kill, is a fun game to play.
But on 2 different disc's?
________________________________________________________
After installing the game and wanting to play, start
with disc 1.
You will see the main menu come up. Then you can choose
what you want to do:
New Game
Load & Save Game
Continue Game
Second Chance
Game Set-Up
Game Credits
Game Help
Exit Game
When you choose New Game, you have a choice between
Junior Detective and Senior Detective.
(NOTE: Junior Detective has more hint in the game.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(NOTE: Senior Detective,
you are pretty much on your own with no hints in the game.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You also have a Tutorial that you can choose to get quick
tips on how to move around in the game.

When you choose the Load & Save Game option,
you will be able to load a previously saved game that
you was playing before.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Or You can choose to save your current game that is
already in process.
________________________________________________________
You can continue your current game after you have
saved your game if you choose to.
Second Chance is a big help when you make a mistake.
If you make a mistake, just click on the Second Chance
button and you will be right where you were before
you had made that mistake. (Cool huh?)
Game Set-Up gives you the option of setting the
background music volume, the character speech
volume and special effects to high or low.
You can also select captioning to be on or off,
if you select on then you will be able to read
exactly what the character are saying in the
little black message box at the bottom of the screen.
The Game Credits shows you all the peoples' names
who made this game and all the people who has
helped to make this game.
Click on the help option and you will reach a screen
that offers you useful directions for playing the game.
normal desktop.
________________________________________________________
When you start a new game you will see a little
magnifying glass, that is you cursor through-out
the game.
When your magnifying glass is blue, that means you
can turn left or right.
When your magnifying glass is red, that means you can
click on a character to speak with them,
Pick up objects to look at them,
Pick up objects to put into your inventory,
And also open and close doors.
_______________________________________________________
The U-Shaped arrow means that you can backup from an
object or character.
Small arrow, you will see this when you move your cursor
off of the game screen to access other features such as:
Inventory
Pocket Watch
Main icon
Message Window
________________________________________________________
When you start, you will start at Aunt Eloise's house.
Then you have to look and search around for everything
that you can possibly pick up and put into your inventory.
You will also be working with some puzzles. (Cool!)
Then your next step would be to go to the school, etc.
But keep in mind that certain parts in the game require
that you must insert disc 2 to continue.
This game drove me nuts when I was just getting into play,
a little screen popped up and said,
"Please Insert Disc 2 To Continue". And I thought to
myself 'What in the world?'. So I put disc 2 in and continued as usual, and there it was again,
"Please Insert Disc 1 To Continue".
I mummbled, 'oh my god, not again!'.
I kept going back and forth, back and forth with the
disc's until I finally beat (finished...lol) the game.
The graphic's are ok.
The music could have been better than what it was.
The character speech was a blur to me.
And last but not least..........
It's a 2 DISC game, not a good choice in my book.
It took me longer to play the game than it should have.
I expected much more.
To make an EXTREMELY lonngggg review short.
(because, I know that everyone doesn't have time to read a
1000 page review....lol)
This is a fun game to play. But I only recommend it,
if you are a Nancy Drew collector.
A very cool detective game.
But when you have to keep
changing the disc back and
forth from disc 1 to disc 2,
well that just aggrivates me.
Thank goodness this game only cost me $10.00.
And I hope that I helped everyone with this review.
