Simon does it right

While the title may seem a bit *sketchy (*a term I picked up here in college i.e. dubious or strange), "Murder By Death" is perhaps one of the funniest murder-spoofs ever made. If you are a fan of Tim Curry antics-filled "Clue" or any sort of comedy fan whatsoever, this movie is made for you.
Not only an incredible playwright, Neil Simon can work every angle on this movie and make it a laugh riot. Not only is the dialogue spectacularly hysterical, the cast is splendid as well. A huge ensemble of players...Peter Faulk, Truman Capote, and Peter Sellers (to name a few) show off their true comedic colors and add total flair to this brilliant film. It follows the tale of several world-renowned detectives that are all invited to an eccentric millionaire's (Capote) house for "dinner and a murder". The story has many twists and turns that are accompanied by frivolous hijinx and assorted off-color remarks. In the end, the murder mystery has gone awry and nothing ends up as it seems.
If you are a fan of Neil Simon, murder mysteries, comedies, or just like a good movie/good laugh SEE THIS FILM. Don't miss out on it, pick it up the next time you go to the video store, you won't regret it.
