Review: I bought the Motorola SX700R 2-way radios to use on fishing trips. In groups of two or three it is pretty easy to fish within sight of each other, but beyond three people it gets really tough not to spread way out. Additionally I have noticed that...

Pros: Lightweight, durable construction. Good sound quality.
Cons: 2 watt and GMRS not worth the extra cost for extra three-block range increase.
The Bottom Line: You're better off with a lower end model from Motorola. 2 watt increase and GMRS not worth the extra cost for extra gain of three blocks in the city.

Pros: refer to above statement.
Cons: These radios performed poorly. I can only get about one mile out of them.

Review: I like the body, nice look, nice feel, light and not too big. But that is offset by the performance.
